Best for Quiet & Secluded

Updated 16 June 2026 · We visit. We don't sell placement.

Trade facilities for space. These are the beaches where you can hear the sea over the speakers — bring what you need.

Seclusion on Koh Larn comes at the price of convenience, so the rule is: come self-sufficient. Thong Lang on the north-west and Laem Tien on the east cape are the quietest, with minimal or no services — bring water, snacks, sunscreen and cash, and don't expect a shop to bail you out. Tien is the gentle option if you want quiet without going fully off-grid, and Sangwan is a calm stop on a wider loop. Midweek is dramatically quieter than weekends, and a scooter or a boat drop is usually the only practical way to reach the most remote sand.
